Impossible to communicate with when anything goes wrong with an order. Takes 24-48 hours to respond to emails then they ask another question and it takes another 24-48 hours to respond to that email, meanwhile a week has gone by and you have not got anywhere with your enquiry. I ordered 2 items, and only one turned up. Yet they say their records show 2 were sent. Well, when I opened up the package that was not tampered with in any way, only one item was in there. And no packing slip in there either. So how did they know they were to send two. One day I will get a response meanwhile I have paid for an item and not received it.
Thanks for that K. I have heard similar stories. When the order goes smoothly, there is no problem, but when something goes wrong, they don’t seem to be equipped to deal with it.
My $200 + order is lost – Australia Post never received the parcel that apparently took over a week from date of order to “dispatch” – it hasn’t even left Catch of the Day – did it even exist. It’s been about three weeks now and they want me to wait to freaking days for a response!!!
I finally received my order – they sorted it out quickly (packaging not v good).
I think they should provide a phone number for customer complaints & queries. Have placed another order, but if anything goes wrong with it, no more for me!

I purchased a Scoopon for a restaurant deal only to find that it has closed. Have emailed three times and attempted to phone the parent company. No luck to date.
Hi Lynne. Normally I can help with problems like yours but they never reply to my emails either! Very frustrating.
I bought a advertised ‘Noise Insolating’ earphone, but I received a normal earphone, send email to them, they denied the misleading information, and want to charge 25% for the refund.
This company is a joke, you never know what you will get and when you can get. Service people are no knowledge at all.

I ordered 1 set of pillows but 2 sets were delivered and charged to my credit card. 1 set was returned via AUSTRALIA POST. I have sent several emails requesting a refund for the set that was returned without any success. Very poor service and dishonest. Who can I report this to?…Ron E
Contact details are those above (Shop Closeouts) . I had to find them via ABN search & link, and a paypal payment I think had a phone number. They take ages to respond, IF you find an address/number to contact.
Also contacted current affair (who “introduced” them to so many and let them (c of d) know I had. That seemed to speed things up.
Their response to orders/slow unreliable service and apparent refusal to offer an accessible customer help/service contact are really unacceptable.
I think they may have grown to big too fast, but that’s no excuse for the amount of frustration and disappointment so may people seem to experience after ordering and paying for product(s) from them. Once you’ve done that, there’s no telling what may happen. The delay between order and receipt of goods dates is more than often appalling.
After the first horrific experience, we risked it one more time – no improvement. To us, the experience is not worth the money saved.

I have ordered approximately 5 times over the last few years. My experience is good. I have always received the products that I have ordered and delivery time has generally been acceptable. Only once it took longer than expected. I always allow 2 – 3 weeks. I recently ordered about 8 items for Christmas and these arrived well packed and in under 2 weeks. Very happy!
As for the quality of their products – I have been more than happy with most. Probably 1 dissappointment was batteries. I feel they aren’t the originals even though they look like Duracell they definitely didn’t last like them. Some didn’t work at all. Packaging is generally good but has been poor on one occasion with contents packaging slightly damaged. Overall there products are as described.
The items I have ordered have ranged from a few dollars to several hundred.
Overall I am more than happy with COTD and will use them again.
