I am very unhappy with my first experience, having purchased a voucher in Feb for Swat Pest Control and still haven’t been able to set up an appointment and get standard email replies from them. This has put me off purchasing another offer, as I have already paid for something and they have my money but haven’t received the service. Rip off indeed.

Sheldon Nesdale April 27, 2011 at 8:01 am

I might be able to help you with that Sharon. I’ll ensure customer services at Cudo hear about this.

Cheers,
Sheldon.

Since been some offers but not tempted to ever use CUDO again
I will be even unhappier if I lose my $119.00 as this was a birthday gift

Purchased voucher for Family Tree Maker + 3 mths ancestry.com.au access which was supposed to be available after 29/12/2011. Go to the http://www.avanquest.co.uk site and nowhere is there anything about this offer or information as to how to redeem voucher. This is starting to look like another Cudo mislead. Have tried to contact avanquest to no avail, so where do I go now before I go to consumer affairs.

Reply

Sheldon Nesdale December 30, 2011 at 10:32 am

Hi Albert, you might have to give them another few days to get it sorted. Things move slowly this time of the year!

Reply

Rob January 2, 2012 at 8:20 pm

Sheldon, your reply for the previous concern regarding the FTM and ancestry subscription is very casual and really shows a lack of concern for your customers. The voucher also doesnt give proper instructions on how to use the voucher, you didnt answer Alberts question regarding this.

Such a nonchalant reply – “Things move slowly this time of the year!”

Sheldon Nesdale January 3, 2012 at 7:17 am

Hi Rob. I don’t work for Cudo. My website is LoveOneDaySales.com.au where I list ALL the daily deal sites. But I do my best to help out people like yourself.

Reply

Albert Mildred January 2, 2012 at 8:46 pm

Slowly is the word for it. While I realise it is holidays, your presentation should have allowed for this and not given a start date “from 29th Dec 2012″. The site is still not giving any credo to cudo, looks like a formal complaint coming up. Rob hit the nail on the head with the apparent nonchalance and lack of interest showing.

Reply

Albert Mildred January 3, 2012 at 7:29 am

Sheldon, the comments are aimed at Cudo not yourself or your site. The reply did give the impression of defending the Cudo lack of action and direction.
Interesting to note no one from Cudo has responded to the postings, do they consider they are not answerable to the customer in any way or manner.

Sheldon Nesdale January 3, 2012 at 7:51 am

ok, thanks Albert

Albert Mildred January 7, 2012 at 11:52 am

Well now, after waiting a “few days” to redeem this deal for Family Tree, there is still nothing on the web site to show that it is happening. I guess I go to consumer affairs to add my voice to the growing list of complainants about CUDO (or should that read clueless and rip off specialists).
Last item I ever buy through them. The complaint will be lodged Tuesday 10th Jan that will allow a “few days” for a response or refund. Sheldon you must find it tough to defend the indefensible.

Albert Mildred January 7, 2012 at 3:46 pm

Shock, I have received an acknowledgement from Cudo to say there is no need to redeem the voucher at the website as stated on the documentation, that happens automatically and I should receive the ordered program within 10 to 14 days (didn’t say from what date), so we will delay action until a further 7 working days to give them time to produce the goods. Need to make sure instructions are not confusing to their customers don’t they.

Agreed! Thanks for the update Albert

I have purchased a voucher from Cudo for a steam mop. The voucher says to enter my shipping details at the Cudo Checkout. How do I get to the Cudo checkout – there is nowhere to get to this link

Thanks
Ros

Hi Ros, have you filled in their contact form? http://cudo.com.au/help

Reply

shaz May 2, 2012 at 8:13 am

Ros, just get a refund through paypal if that is how you paid as the mops ordered where never delivered and the company karno ignores emails as well.
If you paid using a credit card ring your bank and do a charge back on your credit card.

Reply

Gemma February 10, 2012 at 9:22 am

Ros, the address is captured at checkout and the steam mop will be automatically sent to you :)

Hi, Gemma i have sent 2 emails to cudo one last week and one monday and both emails have been ignored so i have opened a dispute with paypal.
These companies are looking at a class action against them.
I am a fully qualified para legal and the law they are breaking is false advertising.

Cudo does not have a satisfaction guarentee. The site may say it does but if your not happy they couldn’t care less. I ordered canvas’s from a company on cudo – Camera to canvas. The quality was about the worst I have ever seen. SO bad its not funny. CUDO did not care less. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Hi am very disappointed with my first experience with Cudo. I purchased not one, but two vouchers for a cleaning package totaling $90 and have been upable to contact the so called cleaning company on the phone number provided on the voucher – 0452 003 954. This phone number is not active. The website provided (www.ezycleaningservices.com) has been diverted to a printing company. So NOT HAPPY. My efforts to contact Cudo for a FULL REFUND has also been unsuccessful. Has anybody elso been ripped off by this mob?

Sara May 2, 2012 at 3:25 pm

I have the same problem with this deal! I went to finally book today and there is no trace of the website and the mobile doesnt work.

Hi, everybody if cudo fails to deliver like they have for me 3 times now and sick to death of being ignored.
If you pay through paypal open a dispute within 45 days of the product not delivered or not as described and they will make sure you are refunded.
Soon paypal will not be doing business with these companies.

Cudo = FAIL.

Paid for an iPad case about 4 months ago and was told the product would ship in 14 to 28 days. 40 something days later I had enough of the promises and ongoing delays and demanded my money back and cancel the order.

I got offered a credit. No, I want my money back was my reply and even had to remind them of their customer satisfaction policy that says “full refund’ no questions asked”. I was told that my money would be refunded in 10 business days. Well it is now over 14 and I still don’t have my money! Cudo is a scam and they don’t keep their promises. Next step is small claims court and office of fair trading.

Cudo started with good customer service, however, what has happened now? Any website registered for Cudo to help with enquiries or vouchers/owners who are not responding says “error” now. Can’t get through to Cudo to enquire re two vouchers I have purchased where I cannot get the owners to answer their mobile phones registered for contact. Cudo PLEAE CONTACT ME ON MY EMAIL ADDRESS ABOVE OR 0409 772 414, I have two vouchers which I cannot redeem because no-one is answering. Looking forward to hearing from you asap. Lourdes Moreno
