Never again! I purchased a voucher for laser hair removal @ zensara spas through ouffer on 7th July 2011. Let me tell you my fantastic experience so far…
Fristly, booking an appointment at the spa was like climbing mount Everest. No one ever returned my messages and all I got was excuses, “our voicemail system isnt working”, “only one staff can actually make a booking” and “you’re not the only one who bought this deal – we’re really busy”. Loving the customer service here. I should’ve known at this point, but keen on the deal I stupidly persisted.
Now this is where it gets fun. Once I got an appointment – they just kept getting cancelled, on or the day before the appointments were due. The first time, “the machine broke”, second and third time was the same excuse “shutting the salon over the weekend because they were ‘updating their online booking system’ (pardon my ignorance – but I never understood how that affected current bookings?)”. I probably wouldn’t have been so upset if I hadn’t already shaved my arms each time (which were never shaved before this). Thanks guys. Now my arms are growing back black. Great.
Having been made a fool of 3 times, and refusing to shave my arms anymore, I asked for a refund which was agreed to as soon as I asked for it (yeah I know, the only time I get instant communication back!). That was on the 19th August.
It’s now the 12th September and I still dont have a refund. And no, its not the spas fault apparently. It’s ouffers for not organising the refund. After the excellent treatment I’ve had from the spa – their honestly and intregrity leave me no doubts its all ouffer’s fault. Either or, I just want my money back… and my arm hairs to be blond again but that was a ‘hairy’ lesson learnt from buying a group discount voucher.
Thanks for telling your story Aleasha
