I purchase an Item from ShareOn and never received anything for about 6 weeks. I was under the impression that the goods must of been coming from China to take such a long time.
I contacted ShareOn and they advise me that I had only purchased a coupon which I had to redeem at another supplier.
I then contacted the supplier, they advised me that the coupon had expired and was not valid anymore.
So I am out of pocket for the Item I purchased, and ShareOn and the Supplier do not want to honor or refund me my money.
I think it is this is bordering on been a scam, I wonder how many other people have paid the money and never received anything because they didn’t read the conditions.
No more ShareOn for me, I’ll stick to Ebay where a least you have some protection.

Well without any secured confirmation or any kind of inquiry about the online purchasing websites, just do not trust any. And i have also shop from shareon.com.au, but i haven’t found any misguidance from there b’coz its simply a coupons distributing website. It is not selling any kind of item for you.

Thanks

Totally dodgy and horrible company. I unsubscribed from their mailing list via the button in their spam emails SIX TIMES, and they still kept sending me offers. I replied to the email address asking to be unsubscribed 3 times after that – still kept getting spammed. Then I tried to look up their contact information and the website wanted me to fill out my personal details before it would even let me into the site! Finally I found an email address that was actually monitored. Not only did the person who replied not give their name, they didn’t take me off the list like they said they did because it’s a few weeks later and now I’ve gotten another automated email from their spam bots. Oh and the very next day after I first sent that last email my email address and first and last name “mysteriously” got entered into a bunch of other spammy websites so I got even more spam from free online surveys etc, and auto-emails asking me to “verify my membership” to stuff I’d never even heard of. I was prepared to let that go but since I just got ANOTHER email from ShareOn a few weeks later I’ve lodged a complaint with the NSW Fair Trading authority. Did I also mention that when I tried to research details of the owner for this complaint, it turns out they are using an expired or fake ABN on their website? Buyer beware!!
