My experience with you is cant talk to anyone what evertime i call even at
9 am Sydney time im told to wait I hour i have been trying since the 14th Nov i am done with u PLEASE CANCEL MY ORDER as i dealt with you,
and reemberse my credit card my voucher no DAFEE6919D

I’ve lodged a complaint with Fair Trading. It’s $35 dollars but if enough of us do it they’ll have to take notice or risk not being able to Sell per ACCC involvement.

Hi groupon.
I have put in an order, but not sure if it has gone through. I have looked up my account and the details have changed from being completed to now saying the voucher has not been reedemed. (which it has). If i am not receiving my purchases please cancel my order and reemburse my credit card. I have been constantly trying to phone but always get told there’s an hour wait.
my voucher code is hca8rhx3cz and referance no is 715899619. please give me a reply as to my purchase status. thank you Mandy.

I will not be buying anything from Groupon again. My one and only experience with them has been terrible. Sometimes deals go wrong which is understandable however whereas companies like Scoopon are contactable, refund your money quickly and are a pleasure to deal with, Groupon is not. The equipment I purchased never arrived after 4 months of waiting, Groupon has not responded to my e-mails, voicemail messages and I cannot get through to anyone on their customer contact centre even when I phone at 9am AEST. I called at 8:59 this morning and their phone system was still on the ‘out of hours please call back’ message, I instantly re-dialled and got the normal options message, after selecting 1 for their customer svs the message said the wait time was 18 minutes, I was strangely happy at this as normally the wait time is over an hour. I stayed on the line for 14 minutes throughout which the wait time message continued to say that the wait time was 18 minutes! The system then cut me off. I called back and the wait time was its usual 60 minutes plus. I only wish I had tried to contact Groupon’s “customer service” centre prior to buying the item just to ask a simple question about the deal, I would then have experienced the level of customer service I could expect to receive afterwards (i.e. nil) should anything have gone wrong with the deal. I have since lodged my complaint with the ACCC.

I have just place an order for voucher code KZgyVarWgZ Ref:715912035 .I would like to know if my order has been successful,as i don’t understand what these vouchers mean.I don’t have a printer, but i did redeem it on line.It said it is successful and money was sent.Would you please e.mail me and let me know when i can expect a delivery,as it is a xmas present. oblidged bev.

I am frustrated beyong belief with groupon australia..impossible to reach by phone, and no customer servive via email … feeling very ripped off… every posting so far has some element with my issue with groupon

I will as well be contacting the accc …boo hoo on my xmas cheer

Iam getting no responce from groupon from my email messages,having paid for 3 bras and registered them .they told me they are on their way,but it is a couple of months now and nothing I will never buy anything again if they cant resolve this.bad dishonest service

It took me three weeks to get a response from customer care for Groupon and that was only after having a friend that works for them contact someone to call me. I’m going to Fair Trading.

Can someone explain to me how not answering a question on a lost coupon until 4 days after it expires and than a “sorry… not our problem” results in a solid customer service experience?

I purchased a $100 GPS 3 weeks ago in the middle of the night with rarely used email address as opposed to my normal one. Money came out immediatly but for some reason I didn’t receive my coupon. 3 weeks of useless email to support finally get responded to today and a “Sorry but we can’t help you… how about a 1/2 credit for our crappy service.”

Multiple calls and emails and ‘on-holds’ HAve no diea where the product I ordered is and I ordered moren than a motnth ago. Wanted it as a Christmas gift but doesn look good..

Tried to order a wine special (Barristers Block $99 dozen). When I tied to submit my order with all the correct details, including my credit card number, a notification kept coming up saying someone by this name was already a member and to resubmit my details, which I tried to do again and again and again! Unsuccessful each time. Now I want to make sure you didn’t get multiple orders from me. Please cancel any orders I possibly managed to get through! You don’t make it easy!

Crap crap crap. I’ve only used them once and won’t ever use them again. I’m sure that the company they used ShopToIt.com which was for the 3 bra deal is to blame for not coming up with the goods but it is totally unacceptable to take money from people and then make them wait over 3 months for the goods which are still not here!

They don’t give any clear answers. They told me to expect delivery in 14 days over a month ago. Still not here.

Doesn’t sound like many people have had good experiences. Might be time to lift your game Groupon?

after contacting groupon by email I was assured that I would recieve my bras between xmas and new year sadly it never happened, I have been waiting for these since the middle of october . don’t they realise they are losing customers .

Groupon is scam. I paid for a deal on the 25/01/2011. The payment finally went through yesterday. I still have not received my voucher. Tried to log into Groupon website but was told my email was unknown….then how did I purchase the Groupon in the first place.
I have been on hold for the last 2 hours. I am lodging a complaint with the Department of Fair Trading.
Unhappy…I will be warning everyone and anyone I know about buying from Groupon.

i would like to cancel my order as it has been over a week since I ordered it and hve not received it . Do not debit my credit card and my voucher number is DE82B15C06 I have bee waiting o the line for over an hour and am dissalusioned. just refund me now as i will otherwise cancell my credit card, I await confirmation via email. today. Am sick of waiting for you to answer phone and your typical voicemail on your system.

Groupon customer service is terrible, they never respond to you, so if you have any problem – it’s your problem. I am going to cancel my groupon membership and would recommend all my friends to do so too. Why leave customer service e-mail or number when no one replies to you?

I ordered and product an redemed the voucher in December last year. I have contacted the provider several times and guess what Istill haven’t received the delivery and its nearly March. Seems to be a pattern here!!!!!!!!

I purchased 2 vouchers only to be told by the merchant that she didn’t give her approval for them to be published so to contact groupon for a refund I have been trying for 2 months but still no refund.
I have used other deals like grabone and scoopon and have been very happy with the service if you have an issue they will refund within 24 hrs but please avoid groupon deals.

as of this date 28/03/2012 the goods have not arrived yet. Please advise urgently when the goods will be delivered.

BYER BEWARE – Do yourself a big favour and stay away from Groupon. I bought deals that were cancelled with no explaination and it is impossible to contact Groupon either by phone or email – they just dont respond to email and have a recorded message on the phone that eventually (after waiting a long time) just cuts off.

Ordered 2 shoe-racks for $55 on 05/03/12, & Credit Card debited for $56.65 on 07/03/12 (overseas taxation fee!! never mentioned in deal!!). Have not received goods. which were for friend’s birthday at end of March! After reading comments above, I feel that I’ll be adding my complaint, to ever-growing list of disgruntled customers at Fair Trading!

Yep, I’m another one they have ripped off. Bought coupon for foot detox patches voucher in early Jan. 2012 for MD & J Solutions at a cost of $38 and received nothing. Tried phoning & emailing and no reply apart from one email that said I would have my product in 7-10 days but of course nothing arrived and they haven’t answered any further emails. What a huge rip-off and disappointment – I was so looking forward to trying those patches. Surely they have to be stopped for taking money for nothing. I will be reporting them. Am so glad I didn’t make a larger purchase like an overseas holiday (was considering it at one time). My first bad experience of shopping online and has made me hesitant to buy online again apart from those I know are legitimate.

I have tried without success to contact Group on customer service. I paid $299 on 11/3/12 for an item that has yet not arrived. It is near impossible to contact customer service. I have now put in a dispute with my bank to redeem the money on my behalf. I will never use Groupon again. Buyers BEWARE!

Like others below I bought the 3 wireless bra deal last September or October. Despite contacting GROUPON on at least 3 occassions and being fobbed off I have neither the money or the goods.

I bought the 3 nu-shape bra deal in Feb 2012. despite contacting Groupon Australia by phone 4 times, Facebook Groupon Australia site so often they threatened to ban me for spam, Facebook Groupon Care Australia who finally replied that it was my problem even though I paid THEM apparently I was responsible for contacting the supplier & getting a refund. Tried contacting the supplier who has not replied. Now gone to Paypal dispute centre and ACCC for some action. All I want is a REFUND of my $39.

The only way to pull this groupon mob into gear is to expose them on a current affair program that way we are telling the whole country what they are like thats the only way to stop thousands of people dealing with them, we can write as many complaints as we like on this site but how many people read it compaired with how many would see it on current affair.

I have had a terrible experience with Groupon. I’m currently trying to get my money back through my bank. Groupon has no customer service at all, especially after sales. I contacted ACCC and they told me that if enough people contact them to complain about Groupon they might start a case. Other than that you can go to Fair Trading.

To update my progress, I submitted a transaction dispute with my bank as well as the form to ADMA. I have now gotten my refund back. I’m not sure if it was just ADMA or the bank as well, but I did get a reply from ADMA saying that I was going to get my refund after they spoke to Groupon. You should give ADMA a go if you want to get your refund back.

I purchased a shoe rack that claimed to be capable of holding 30 pairs of shoes valued at $79.00 for an incredible deal of $29.00 from Groupon. I made the purchase on 6 March and only recieved the package on the 01 May – Their disclaimer reads approximately 5 weeks so I guess that should have been acceptable however, when I unpacked the rack to assemble it I realised that I had been ripped off with this deal because this shoe rack wasn’t worth $10!
The build quality was absolutely cheap and flimsy but I proceeded to assemble it and load my wifes shoes onto it.

My wife came home from Melbourne that evening and liked what I had done for her even though I had commented on the crap build quality of this product but she insisted that we keep it. 24hr later we’re sitting in our lounge when we hear a noise. After inspecting, I found that the shoerack had snapped in half and had spilled the shoes all over the place.

1) I am annoyed at the fact that they market and sell cheap crap like this at inflated prices and falsely avertise that this is an incredible deal.
2) I have been holding for 45min + at 4pm in the afternoon for their Customer Care to answer the phone – to no avail
3) I highly recommend avoiding any further dealins with this mob until they get their act together and I expect a full refund!!

DON’T BUY THE GROUPON SHOE RACK!!

I would like to inform everyone that my issue has been resolved and I would like to express a sincere Thank You to ADMA for their immediate assistance with Groupon.

I recieved a call from Groupon today to advise me that I could keep the dodgy shoe rack and that they would be refunding me – I can expect to see funds in my account.

I urge anyone who has a problem with Groupon or any discount voucher website to handle their complaint directly with ADMA.
